Job summary

YTL AI Labs is seeking an AI Product Engineer to design, build, and refine AI-powered user experiences. You will collaborate with product managers and platform engineers to translate user needs into production-ready features.

Responsibilities include designing AI workflows, managing model context, building user interfaces, and owning backend logic for prompts, responses, and tool calls. You will also maintain CI/CD and monitoring for deployed AI features.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software development experience, with exposure to LLM or ML apps preferred.
• Strong frontend skills with React/Next.js and backend capabilities in Python/Node.js.
• Familiarity with prompt design, agent orchestration, and AI interactions.
• Comfortable in fast-moving, exploratory environments.
• Experience using AI-native developer tools such as Replit, Cursor, Codeium or similar.

About the Role

As an AI Product Engineer, you’ll design, build, and refine AI-powered user experiences. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers and platform engineers to translate user needs into seamless, production-ready features.

You’ll:

• Design and implement user-centric AI workflows using prompt builders, memory APIs, and agent orchestration
• Manage context inputs for models - memory, retrieved knowledge, and system promptImplement fallback mechanisms to ensure latency-aware, cost-efficient interactions
• Build and integrate user interfaces (React or similar frameworks)
• Own backend logic for routing prompts, responses, and tool calls
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and monitoring for deployed AI features
• Collaborate with product managers and platform engineers on feature scope, risks, and integration
• Refine prompts and logic through user feedback, telemetry, and performance data
• Contribute to reusable design patterns and code libraries

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years in software development (LLM or ML app exposure is a plus)Frontend (React / Next.js) + backend (Python / Node.js) experience
• Familiarity with prompt design, agent orchestration, and AI interactions
• Comfortable working in fast-moving, exploratory environments
• Proficiency in using AI-native developer tools such as Replit, Cursor, Codeium, or similar platforms

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with OpenAI, Claude, or similar LLM APIs
• Knowledge of RAG, memory/context management, or prompt evaluation
• Background in Fintech, EdTech, GovTech, or AI-driven UX
