Job summary

Swisslog, a global robotics leader, seeks an AI/GenAI engineer in Malaysia to design and build applications leveraging LLMs and RAG techniques. You will implement AI solutions via FastAPI endpoints and collaborate with distributed teams to translate business needs into scalable tech solutions.

The role requires hands-on Python, LangChain, and agile practices, with a focus on Generative AI, ML concepts, and cloud-based tooling like Azure AI Foundry.

Application Requirements

What you need to succeed

• Demonstrated passion for Generative AI and its application to real-world business problems
• Experience with Python programming and scripting
• Hands-on experience with LangChain or other LLM frameworks, building RAG supported applications, agents, tool integrations, and evaluation flows
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with globally distributed team members
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, with a specific focus on LLMs and Generative AI techniques
• Knowledge of Azure Cloud Services, e.g. Resource management and Azure AI Foundry for developing and operationalizing GenAI
• Experience building rapid prototypes; frontend skills are a plus
• Familiarity with tools used in development, such as Git, Python, LangChain or other LLM frameworks, Terraform, etc.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology-based development
