Job summary

Swisslog Holding AG in Malaysia is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design, develop and maintain AI-powered intralogistics solutions, leveraging a range of AI techniques to improve performance and efficiency.

You will collaborate with global teams, stay ahead of LLMs and Gen AI advances, and build rapid prototypes using Python, LangChain, and cloud services in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Qualifications

• Proven passion for Generative AI and its business applications
• Experience with Python programming and scripting
• Hands-on experience with LangChain or other LLM frameworks
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across distributed teams
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms with focus on LLMs and Generative AI
• Experience with cloud services, preferably Azure
• Experience building rapid prototypes
• Familiarity with development tools like Git, Terraform, LangChain
• Ability to design effective applications
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development

• Design the architecture, develop and maintain applications utilizing a variety of AI solutions
• Implement AI solutions through endpoints using FastAPI, ensuring high level security
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in LLMs, Generative AI, and machine learning technologies

Application Requirements

What you need to succeed

• Demonstrated passion for Generative AI and its application to real‑world business problems; AI‑related hobby projects with a strong developer background also count
• Experience with Python programming and scripting
• Hands‑on experience with LangChain or other LLM frameworks, MCP, agents, tool integrations, and evaluation flows
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with globally distributed team members
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, with a specific focus on LLMs and Generative AI techniques
• Strong experience with cloud services, preferably within the Azure ecosystem
• Experience building rapid prototypes
