Job summary

Darco Water Systems Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an AI & IT Engineer to drive AI adoption and digital transformation across engineering and business operations.

You will translate business needs into practical AI, automation and digital solutions, working with management, departments and external partners while coordinating IT support and vendor activities. You will develop and maintain AI solutions, integrate systems, and ensure security, documentation and knowledge transfer to internal users, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in AI, CS, software engineering, data science or IT.
• Practical knowledge of APIs, SQL/databases and system integration.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG or related AI tech is preferred.
• Ability to translate business requirements into workable tech solutions.
• Familiar with Microsoft 365, Windows environment and IT support basics.
• Experience coordinating with external AI, software or IT vendors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to apply AI, automation and digital solutions to improve operational efficiency and processes.
• Develop, configure, implement and maintain internal AI and automation solutions.
• Support AI/LLM solutions, chatbots, data analysis and digital tool applications.
• Integrate AI with existing systems and databases using APIs and other technologies.
• Test, troubleshoot, monitor and continuously improve implemented solutions.
• Coordinate with external partners on larger AI projects and ensure timely delivery.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for development.
• Provide day-to-day IT support and assist with license management and IT assets.
• Ensure data security, documentation and knowledge transfer across teams.
