Job summary

Data Flows Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated workflows using n8n and related platforms. You will build APIs to connect systems and create Python scripts for data processing and automation tasks.

You will collaborate with clients to understand business processes, identify automation opportunities, and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments. A hybrid working arrangement supports flexible collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in AI related.
• Foundation in n8n workflow automation platform.
• Foundation in data science and machine learning concepts.
• Able to work independently to solve technical problems while maintaining clear communication as a team.
• Exceptionally detail-oriented with strong debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and webhook integrations
• Basic understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL)
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Interest in AI/ML tools and their practical business applications

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated workflows using n8n and similar automation platforms.
• Build and integrate APIs to connect various business systems and data sources.
• Develop Python scripts for data processing, transformation and automation tasks.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes and identify automation opportunities.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Create documentation for workflows, integrations and technical processes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot automated systems to ensure reliability and performance.
• Work closely with the development team to integrate automation solutions with existing applications.
• Stay updated on emerging automation tools, AI technologies and best practices.
