Job summary

Oxydata Software Sdn Bhd in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia is seeking an experienced Agentic AI Engineer to lead design and implementation of multi-agent AI systems.

You will design pipelines, oversee inter-agent communication, and deploy AI agents across a hybrid work setup, collaborating with mature teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/SE/AI or related field.
• 1–4 years of production AI/ML experience with agentic or LLM-based systems.
• Production experience with LangGraph and/or CrewAI.
• Hands-on N8N workflow design and deployment.
• Experience with GPT Vision for image/document understanding.
• Strong Python skills; able to read JavaScript.
• Familiar with OpenAI API, Claude API, function calling and tool use.
• Knowledge of embeddings, vector search and retrieval grounding.
• Experience with FastAPI exposing APIs.

We are seeking an experienced Agentic AI Engineer to lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge multi-agent AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement multi-agent pipelines using LangGraph and CrewAI.
• Define agent roles, decompose tasks, manage inter-agent communication, and oversee state management.
• Develop supervisor/worker agent architectures for complex reasoning tasks.
• Build production automation workflows using N8N, integrating AI agents into broader business processes.
• Implement tool-calling agents with access to APIs, databases, and file systems.
• Integrate GPT Vision for document parsing and visual data extraction.
• Deploy agentic systems on self-hosted VPS infrastructure, ensuring observability and error handling.
• Expose agent capabilities via FastAPI endpoints for frontend and external system integration.

Requirements

Must-have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, or related field.
• 1–4 years of experience in AI/ML engineering with hands‑on production experience in agentic or LLM-based systems.
• Demonstrated production experience with LangGraph and/or CrewAI.
• Hands‑on experience with N8N workflow design and deployment.
• Proficiency with GPT Vision or equivalent for image/document understanding.
• Strong Python skills; comfortable reading JavaScript.
• Experience with OpenAI API, Claude API, function calling, tool use, and structured outputs.
• Expertise in system prompts, chain-of-thought, ReAct patterns, and output formatting.
• Knowledge of embeddings, vector search, and retrieval grounding as agent tools.
• Experience with FastAPI for exposing agent capabilities as APIs.
• Proficiency with Git, VPS/cloud deployment, basic Linux administration, and error handling for async workflows.
• Eligibility: Malaysian Only.

Nice-to-have

• Experience with LangChain or LlamaIndex for knowledge‑base construction.
• Development of MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools like Cursor or GitHub Copilot.
• Experience with Docker for containerized agent deployment.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for agent workflow testing and deployment.
• Basic frontend skills with React.js for building simple agent UIs or dashboards.
• Experience with structured output validation using Pydantic or similar libraries.
