Job summary

Expeditors International in Petaling Jaya is seeking a Warehouse Clerk to handle incoming and outgoing freight for the air warehouse. The role covers receiving, put away, picking, packing, releasing and stock taking to ensure accuracy and timely dispatch.

You will coordinate with truckers, update system events, audit picking, maintain inventory records, and uphold safe, organized warehouse conditions. Diploma holders with 1-2 years of related experience and good English are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of related working experience in a similar position.
• Good knowledge of computers and MS Office applications.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• To perform all warehouse control duties including receiving, put away, picking, packing, releasing and stock taking.
• To assist in coordinating with truckers for delivery of warehousing services with driver validation procedures.
• To update shipment event codes in the system.
• To audit picking activities using warehouse checklists and update freight labeling and event codes.
• To ensure warehouse cargo manifests are checked, paperwork signed, and trailers sealed.
• To maintain inventory records and warehouse housekeeping in a safe condition.
• To take up additional responsibilities as required to meet the Company's needs.

Job Description

Scope of Position

To handle the incoming and outgoing freight for the air warehouse.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• To perform all warehouse control duties including receiving, put away, picking, packing, releasing and stock taking functions.
• To assist in coordinating with truckers for delivery of warehousing services withfollow the driver validation procedures.
• To update shipmentsevent code in the system.
• To audit picking activities by using warehouse checklist from agents and truckers including freight labelling, update event codes, etc.
• To ensure warehouse cargo manifests checked, paperwork signed, and trailers sealed.
• To ensure products are stored in proper designated, safe area and presentable condition.
• To report any OSD shipments and documented relevant information and update respective customer service on any photo available.
• To maintain proper and update inventory records to meets customer requirements.
• To maintain warehouse facility and warehouse housekeeping including checking of forklift, availability of battery water, battery power and etc in effective and efficient condition.
• To take up additional responsibilities as required to meet the Company's needs.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1to 2years of related working experience in similar position.
• Good knowledge of computer and MS Office applications.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Fresh graduates are encourage to apply.
