Job summary

Expeditors Malaysia is seeking a warehouse associate to handle inbound/outbound freight, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, releasing and stock taking for accurate inventory.

Qualified candidates possess a Diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years’ warehousing experience, and good English with MS Office skills. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Benefits include medical insurance, training programs, and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

Receive, put away, pick, pack, release and stock take items.
Coordinate with truckers for delivery of warehousing services.
Update shipment event codes in the system.
Audit picking activities using warehouse checklists.
Ensure destination labels match shipping labels to prevent misroutes.
Ensure cargo manifests are checked, paperwork signed, and trailers sealed.
Maintain proper inventory records to meet customer requirements.
Maintain warehouse facility and housekeeping (forklift checks, battery water, etc.).
Take up additional responsibilities as required.

Job Description

Scope of Position

To handle the incoming and outgoing freight for the air warehouse.

Major Duties And Responsibilities

To perform all warehouse control duties including receiving, put away, picking, packing, releasing and stock taking functions.
To assist in coordinating with truckers for delivery of warehousing services with follow the driver validation procedures.
To update shipments event code in the system.
To audit picking activities by using warehouse checklist from agents and truckers including freight labelling, update event codes, etc.
To ensure Expeditors destination labels match shipping label to prevent misroutes.
To ensure warehouse cargo manifests checked, paperwork signed, and trailers sealed.
To ensure products are stored in proper designated, safe area and presentable condition.
To report any OSD shipments and documented relevant information and update respective customer service on any photo available.
To maintain proper and update inventory records to meets customer requirements.
To maintain warehouse facility and warehouse housekeeping including checking of forklift, availability of battery water, battery power and etc in effective and efficient condition.
To take up additional responsibilities as required to meet the Company's needs.
