Job summary

Allure Auto SDN BHD in Subang Jaya, Malaysia is seeking a skilled Service Technician/Mechanic to join our aftersales team. You will inspect, maintain, diagnose and repair vehicles, ensuring safety and adherence to manufacturer and workshop standards.

You will perform routine servicing and repairs, diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, and conduct inspections and road tests. The role requires responsibility, attention to detail and strong teamwork with service advisors.

Qualifications

• Certificate, Diploma or relevant qualification in Automotive Technology, Automotive Engineering or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with EVs or high-voltage vehicle systems is an advantage.
• Able to diagnose problems and carry out repairs independently.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Possess a valid Malaysian driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing, maintenance and repair work on customer vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and vehicle system issues.
• Carry out vehicle inspections and identify required repairs or maintenance.
• Perform replacement and repair of vehicle components when required.
• Ensure all work is completed according to manufacturer specifications and workshop procedures.
• Conduct quality checks and road tests where necessary.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Keep tools, equipment and work areas clean, organised and safe.
• Follow workplace safety procedures, including EV and high-voltage safety requirements where applicable.
• Work closely with Service Advisors and other workshop team members to ensure jobs are completed efficiently.
