Job summary

CARSOME Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to troubleshoot, repair and maintain vehicles, ensuring reliability and safety. You will use diagnostic equipment to identify issues and plan repairs with manuals, charts and experience.

You will perform routine maintenance, conduct QC inspections on refurbished vehicles, provide accurate estimates of cost and time, log work, and advise customers on vehicle use.

Qualifications

• MLVK Level 3 certified in automotive engineering is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive car repair.
• Experience in automotive after-sales repair is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues.
• Run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure vehicle longevity.
• Repair or replace damaged parts to achieve reliability.
• Provide accurate estimates for repair or maintenance work.
• Keep logs of work and issues; maintain tools and equipment.
