Job summary

Standard Chartered Melaka Branch is seeking a proactive Banking Support professional to assist Relationship Managers and Priority/Affluent clients with sales fulfilment and servicing. You will help onboarding, document handling, and digital channel adoption while upholding AML/CDD standards.

The role emphasizes client experience, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration to drive revenue and maintain high service levels in branch operations.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ banking experience and knowledge of banking products and services.
• Proven ability to manage sales and/or branch operations and deliver strong results.
• Ability to coach, motivate and lead branch team members at different levels.
• Strong customer service orientation with good interpersonal skills.
• Familiar with ABM rules and Bank Negara Malaysia FEA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support Relationship Managers and Priority/Affluent clients with fulfilment, servicing and operational support.
• Assist onboarding of new clients and products, including documentation for wealth products and deposits.
• Monitor client applications and requests to meet turnaround times.
• Educate clients on digital channels and migrate them to remote banking.
• Review documentation for completeness and accuracy; ensure compliance with policies and AML/CDD.
