Job summary

RTX seeks a Material Planner to ensure parts availability for production, coordinating with suppliers, OEMs and internal teams. You will translate forecasts into provisioning plans and monitor schedules to meet commitments while optimizing inventory. Strong SAP and Excel skills, with aerospace experience, are essential.

Applicants should have a relevant degree and 3–5 years in material planning, with a focus on meeting safety, quality and delivery targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or related field.
• 3–5 years of material planning experience in aerospace, aviation MRO or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of MRP, inventory control and procurement processes.
• Hands-on experience with SAP and Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with aviation authority requirements (FAA/EASA) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and procure spares and rework parts to meet TAT and production commitments.
• Translate forecast and historical usage into provisioning plans.
• Monitor production schedules and provide material availability updates.
• Manage open orders, expediting and adjustments to maintain optimal stock.
• Liaise with OEMs and suppliers to monitor status and resolve delivery issues.
• Support cost reduction and supplier diversification initiatives.
