Job summary

CTRM AeroSystems Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Production Planner to develop and manage the master production schedule for aerospace manufacturing, aligning customer orders, forecasts, capacity, and materials to ensure on-time delivery.

You will coordinate across Procurement, Warehouse, Production, Engineering, Quality, and Sales, release work orders in ERP, monitor progress, and drive continuous improvement in planning accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in spare parts planning, order management, customer service, or supply chain in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor the master production schedule based on customer orders, forecasts, production capacity, and material availability.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, Production, Engineering, Quality, and Sales to ensure timely availability of materials and smooth production execution.
• Plan and release production work orders in the ERP/QAD system, ensuring accurate data and timely updates.
• Monitor production progress, identify schedule deviations or bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to ensure on-time completion.
• Optimize production capacity, machine utilization, manpower allocation, and inventory levels to achieve operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate production planning records, including schedules, material requirements, production status, and inventory reports.
• Communicate production schedules, priorities, and changes to relevant departments and provide timely updates on delivery commitments.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy, production efficiency, inventory control, and on-time delivery performance.
