Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Malaysia is seeking a Material Planner to ensure the availability of parts and spares to meet production demand and customer commitments.

You will coordinate with suppliers, OEMs and the operations team to optimize inventory, manage open orders, and drive cost efficiency while complying with internal policies.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in SCM or related field, 3–5 years in material planning, and hands-on experience with MRP, SAP ERP and Excel.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in SCM, Logistics, or related field.
• 3–5 years in material planning in aerospace/MRO/manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of MRP, inventory control, and procurement.
• Experience with SAP ERP and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Plan and procure spares and rework parts to meet production commitments.
• Translate forecast into provisioning plans aligned with demand.
• Monitor production schedules and provide material availability updates.
• Manage open orders, including expediting and adjusting purchase orders.
