Job summary

Quantios is seeking a Product Owner for its eFileConnect (eFC) AEOI suite, working with Senior Product Managers to define features that address CRS, FATCA, and regulatory needs. You will backlog manage, write user stories, and engage customers for real-world feedback to guide development.

The role emphasizes hands-on Agile delivery, strong analysis, and collaboration with internal teams and external customers to ensure compliant, valuable software enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar Agile delivery role.
• Solid understanding of Agile practices and the software development lifecycle.
• Ability to write clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience working with delivery tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Experience in enterprise software environments serving regulated financial services industries is an advantage.
• Familiarity with AEOI obligations (CRS and/or FATCA) or willingness to develop regulatory expertise quickly.

Responsibilities

• Define and articulate features aligned to product release plans.
• Gather and analyse requirements through workshops, interviews, and wireframing.
• Translate product requirements into well-structured user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Own and manage the team backlog, ensuring it is prioritised and refined.
• Facilitate backlog grooming and sprint planning sessions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
• Support verification of delivered features to meet business and user expectations.
• Capture feedback from users and use it to inform iteration.
• Act as liaison between development teams, product management, and stakeholders.
• Prepare feature demos, documentation, and release support activities.
• Contribute to internal knowledge bases and champion product awareness.
• Develop knowledge of AEOI regulatory frameworks (CRS and FATCA).
• Engage directly with customers to gather voice-of-the-customer insights.
• Bring regulatory horizon-scanning to roadmap discussions and influence priorities.
• Support teams during AEOI reporting seasons and broader compliance needs.
