Job summary

Quest Oracle Community in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced ADF Developer to drive design, development, and deployment of Oracle-based applications across the SDLC. You will work with ADF technology and system integration to deliver reliable solutions.

The role requires hands-on Java/J2EE, Oracle/DB2 databases, and strong problem-solving and communication abilities. Insurance domain exposure and Agile knowledge are pluses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT or related field.
• 5+ years in application development across SDLC.
• Hands-on Oracle ADF, ADF Faces, ADF BC.
• Proficient in Java/J2EE.
• Experience with Oracle/DB2 databases and PL/SQL.
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, XML; MQ Integration.
• Strong analytic, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Insurance domain experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of Agile development is a plus.

Role Summary:

We are seeking a ADF Developer to join our team and support application development, enhancement, and system integration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Oracle ADF development and be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment and production support.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain business applications using Oracle ADF.
• Participate in technical design discussions and solution development.
• Perform coding, unit testing, and module testing activities.
• Ensure compliance with development standards and documentation requirements.
• Support system integration, UAT testing and production deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide ongoing application support.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver project requirements.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in application development:
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Oracle ADF (11g or above)
• ADF Faces (Taskflows)
• ADF Business Components (AM/VO/EO)
