Job summary

Prudential Services Asia is seeking a Pricing Actuary to conduct product pricing with financial and operational risk oversight and to ensure pricing is profitable and timely for group employer schemes. You will support quotations and prepare pricing submissions for PCA and BNM, ensuring on-time delivery.

The role requires a degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Actuarial Science, progress in IOA/IOAA/SOA exams, and proficiency in Prophet and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Actuarial Science or related field.
• Progress in actuarial exams (IOA/IOAA/SOA) preferred.
• Proficient in Prophet and MS Office (Excel, VBA, Word, PowerPoint).
• Good communication skills; English & Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Product Pricing: conduct pricing with financial and operational risk management; set profitable pricing and respond to quotes for group schemes; prepare pricing submissions for PCA and BNM and ensure on-time delivery.
• Pricing approach: maintain sound methodologies; document bases; run pricing models aligned with takaful profitability.
• Product implementation: provide pricing-related system testing and actuarial support (materials, requirements, UAT) to ensure timely delivery.
• Retakaful: coordinate with operators to obtain competitive rates and support pricing, product design, underwriting, and claims management.
