FWD TIM in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an actuarial intern to support Prophet modelling and centralised actuarial models for local business units within FWD Group.

Ideal candidates are Actuarial Science students in 2nd or final year, with strong Excel and coding skills, good analytical and problem-solving abilities, and keen to develop in a fast-paced insurance environment.

Qualifikationen

• Students of Actuarial Science or similar major.
• Preferably 2nd/Final year in Actuarial Faculty.

Aufgaben

• Assist in providing Prophet modelling services to local business units within FWD Group
• Assist on development and maintenance of the centralised Actuarial models for local business units within FWD Group
• Assist in independent spreadsheet development to check the logic performed in Prophet model
• Assist in model validation by performing bridging analysis and regression test
• Assist in DCS checks and development
• Provide support to local business units within TIM ACT Service Desk
• Actively communicate and solve issues raised by local business units
• Act as an intermediary between local business units and external parties
• Assist the team in performing ad-hoc actuarial related tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• Students of Actuarial Science or other Mathematics/Statistics based major
• Preferably 2nd / Final year student in Actuarial Science Faculty

• Good in Microsoft Excel and coding skills are preferred
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good in English speaking and written skills
