University of Cyberjaya is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Lead to guide and develop the AP team within a large university setting in Cyberjaya. You will oversee day-to-day invoice processing, PO matching, payments, and vendor relationships.

Lead process improvements, ensure policy compliance, and support period-end close while delivering accurate AP reports to management. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5-7 years of accounts payable experience, with 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field or equivalent experience.
• ACCA/ICAEW or equivalent qualifications highly desirable.
• Experience in higher education or large organisational environment preferred.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and supervise the accounts payable team, guiding training and performance management.
• Oversee timely and accurate processing of invoices, purchase orders, and payments.
• Manage vendor relationships and resolve discrepancies, queries, and escalations.
• Ensure compliance with university policies, financial regulations, and audit requirements.
• Reconcile accounts payable records and conduct variance analysis.
• Implement and optimise accounts payable processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Prepare and analyse accounts payable reports for management and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with procurement, finance, and operations to resolve payment issues.
• Maintain accurate vendor master files and data integrity in accounting systems.
• Assist with period-end close activities and reconciliations.
