We are proudly part of Japan Post — www.tollgroup.comWe are seeking a detail-oriented **Accounts Payable Officer** to join our Finance team and support payment processing, vendor reconciliations, audit requirements, and day-to-day Accounts Payable operations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely service delivery. ### Key Responsibilities:* Prepare, validate, and process scheduled and ad-hoc payment runs accurately and within established timelines.* Review payment files to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance before release.* Verify invoices against tax requirements, company policies, and supporting documentation.* Investigate and resolve payment rejections, discrepancies, and processing issues in a timely manner.* Perform vendor statement reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items.* Maintain accurate payment records and supporting documentation for audit and compliance purposes.* Support internal and external audits by providing required documents, samples, and explanations.* Respond to vendor and internal stakeholder queries regarding payment status, remittances, and payment-related issues.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies, payment issues, and process blockers.* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance process efficiency, accuracy, and reduce rework. ### Requirements:* Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.* 1–2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Finance Operations is preferred.* Good understanding of basic accounting principles and Accounts Payable processes.* Strong attention to detail with excellent accuracy and reconciliation skills.* Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage high transaction volumes and meet deadlines.* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with good written and spoken English.* Experience with ERP systems, SAP, banking portals, or payment platforms is an advantage. **Think you've got what it takes?
