Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a finance professional to support day‑to‑day accounting operations with a focus on AP, supplier reconciliation, stock reconciliation and cash flow support.

You will handle invoice processing, payment preparation, bank reconciliations and month‑end closing in a manufacturing environment, using MYOB or AutoCount.

This role offers a stable career path with Monday to Friday schedule and exposure to AR, GL, inventory, audits and management accounting.

Qualifications

• Possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) is highly preferred.
• Familiar with supplier reconciliation, payment processing and accounting documentation.
• Experience in stock reconciliation / inventory accounting will be an added advantage.
• Familiar with bank reconciliation and cash flow preparation.
• Experience with MYOB, AutoCount or other accounting software is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily Accounts Payable (AP) activities, including invoice processing, verification and proper documentation.
• Perform supplier statement reconciliation and follow up on outstanding invoices and discrepancies.
• Monitor supplier aging and ensure invoices are properly recorded and processed according to the payment schedule.
• Prepare Payment Vouchers (PV) and supporting documents for supplier payments.
• Assist in payment preparation and ensure proper authorization and documentation are obtained.
• Perform bank reconciliation and assist with other accounting reconciliations.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Logistics and PPC on supplier invoices, deliveries and stock‑related matters.
• Assist in stock reconciliation and monthly stock take.
• Assist in preparing and updating projected cash flow.
• Assist with month‑end closing and preparation of Management Accounts.
