Job summary

Latimer Corporation Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to lead our finance operations, manage full set accounts, and oversee project costing and budgeting. You will ensure financial compliance across sites and liaise with auditors and bankers.

The role requires a degree in accounting or finance, 7+ years of accounting experience with supervisory exposure, and strong proficiency in project costing and cash flow management. Construction industry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance (ACCA, CPA, MIA qualification is an advantage).
• At least 7 years of relevant accounting experience, with 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
• Construction / Civil Engineering industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong proficiency in full set accounts, project costing, and cash flow management.
• Familiarity with IFCA Contract X, Sage UBS, and MS Excel is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage full set accounts, daily accounting operations, and monthly financial reporting.
• Monitor project costing, profitability, cash flow forecasts, and annual budgets.
• Oversee subcontractor payments, supplier accounts, progress claims, and retentions.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian tax, accounting, and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and bankers.
• Lead, supervise, and develop the Accounts team.

The Role

Lead, supervise, and develop the Accounts team.
