Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Accounts & Finance Assistant to support day-to-day accounting and finance operations, including recording transactions, payment preparation, accounts payable and receivable maintenance, reconciliation support and financial documentation. This role ensures that all accounting records, payments and supporting documents are accurate, complete, properly organised and traceable.

The position also assists with month-end closing, Malaysia e-Invoice and MyInvois processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience; fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Proficient in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger and bank reconciliation.
• Experience in retail, trading or inventory-based businesses is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with AutoCount or SQL Accounting.

Responsibilities

• Support daily accounting and finance operations.
• Record daily sales, purchases, expenses and other financial transactions.
• Maintain Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable records.
• Prepare payments and payment vouchers with supporting documents.
• Assist with month-end closing and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with departments to resolve missing documents and ensure traceability.
