The role covers month-end close, intercompany activities, and support for statutory reporting, audits, and process improvements in a fast-paced multinational setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of General Ledger/Record-to-Report experience.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Experience handling multiple legal entities in APAC.
• Knowledge of GST, VAT, SST and cross-jurisdictional compliance preferred.
• Strong accounting principles and controls; ERP skills andExcel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger records and prepare journal entries for 12 APAC entities.
• Ensure IFRS/GAAP compliance and prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support intercompany accounting and intercompany reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end, quarterly, and year-end close and reporting.
• Support tax filings (SST, GST/VAT) and audits as required.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for managing General Ledger operations, taxation matters, and financial reporting activities, while ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records across multiple legal entities within the APAC region. This role supports timely and accurate financial reporting, compliance with local statutory and tax requirements, adherence to accounting standards, and the smooth execution of month-end and year-end close processes. The position requires close collaboration with external teams, and business stakeholders to support the financial operations of 12 APAC entities.

As an Accounts Executive, you will:

General Ledger & Financial Accounting

• Maintain accurate general ledger records and prepare journal entries for multiple APAC entities.
• Ensure financial transactions are recorded in accordance with IFRS & GAAP, local accounting standards, and company policies.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies on a timely basis.
• Review and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial information.
• Support intercompany accounting activities, including reconciliations and balance confirmations.
• Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions across entities, ensuring accurate accounting, timely settlement, and compliance with group policies, transfer pricing requirements, and statutory regulations.

Month-End & Financial Reporting

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities across 12 legal entities in the APAC region.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation for group and statutory reporting requirements.
• Perform ledger reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and foreign currency revaluations where required.
• Ensure all reporting deadlines are met and financial results are delivered accurately and on time.
• Assist with variance analysis and provide explanations for significant movements in account balances.

Tax & Compliance

• Prepare and coordinate SST, GST, VAT, withholding tax, and other indirect tax filings in accordance with local statutory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing audit schedules and responding to information requests.
• Assist with statutory financial statement preparation and local compliance requirements.

Business & Stakeholder Support

• Collaborate closely with Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Treasury, Payroll, and other teams to ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial records.
• Provide financial information and analysis to support business decisions and operational requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and system efficiencies.
• Support finance transformation and process improvement initiatives where required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 - 5 years of experience in General Ledger, Financial Accounting, or Record-to-Report (R2R) functions.
• Experience managing month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Experience handling multiple legal entities and/or regional accounting responsibilities within an APAC environment.
• Knowledge of GST, VAT, SST, statutory reporting, and regulatory compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions is preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across different countries and time zones.
