Job summary

NZ New Image Sdn Bhd in Petaling Jaya is seeking an Accounts Executive on a 3-month contract to support daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, bank reconciliations and related finance duties. The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, 2–3 years of relevant experience, strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Proficiency in MS Excel is required, familiarity with accounting systems and e-Invoicing is a plus.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
2–3 years of relevant accounting experience, especially AP/AR.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and bank reconciliations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

Handle daily Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions.
Process supplier invoices, payment vouchers, vendor payments, refunds and petty cash records.
Perform daily credit card settlements, collection verification and AR matching.
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting records.
Assist with month-end closing, financial reporting and reconciliation schedules.
Maintain proper accounting records, supporting documents and filing.
Assist with e-Invoice processing, data extraction and verification.
Liaise with internal departments, suppliers and banks on accounting-related matters.
Participate in monthly stock counts and assist with audit preparation.
Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.
