Job summary

Passive Fire Protection Sdn Bhd is seeking an Accounts Executive to manage the full set of accounts, perform bank reconciliations, and record journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance. The role also covers billing, payments, petty cash, and liaison with auditors and tax agents to support timely financial reporting.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of full set accounting experience and is fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Chinese is optional.

Qualifications

• Minimum Professional Certificate or Diploma in accounting with at least 2 years of full set accounting experience.
• Experience with UBS or similar accounting software is a plus.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Chinese is optional.

Responsibilities

• Manage Full Set of Accounts including daily accounting tasks.
• Perform Bank Reconciliation to ensure records match statements.
• Prepare and post Journal Entries for all financial activities.
• Oversee Billing and Payments to ensure timely processing.
• Manage Petty Cash and maintain accountability.
• Liaise with Auditors, Tax Agents and Company Secretary for compliance.
• Perform Ad Hoc duties as required to support Finance.

What You'll be Doing?

• Manage Full Set of Accounts: Handle all aspects of account management, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Bank Reconciliation: Ensure financial records align with bank statements, maintaining transparency and accuracy
• Journal Entries: Record Financial transactions accurately, supporting company's accounting needs
• Billing and Payments: Oversee billing processes and manage payments efficiently, ensuring timely financial operations
• Petty Cash Management: Administer petty cash transactions, maintaining control and accountability
• Liaising with Auditors: Liaise with auditor, tax agents and the company secretary to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting
• Ad Hoc Duties: Perform any additional accounting tasks as assigned, contributing to the smooth operation of finance department

Who We're Looking for?

• Educational and Experience: Minimum Professional Certificate, or Diploma in accounting or related field with at least 2 years of full set accounting experiences from any industry
• Accounting System Knowledge: Experience in accounting software or systems (eg. UBS or equivalent) is a plus
• Language Proficiency: Ability to converse in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Optional: Chinese for broader communication
• Independent Work: Ability to work independently and pay attention to details, ensuring accuracy in all financial tasks
• Transport: Possess your own transport for commuting to work place
• Location: Willing to work in Glenmarie, near Subang Jaya
