Job summary

My Insure Link Sdn Bhd is seeking a detail-oriented Account Executive to manage insurance premiums, commission reconciliation, client accounts, and daily accounting transactions. The role supports finance and admin functions of the company.

Responsibilities include processing payments, reconciling records, preparing monthly reports, and assisting with month-end/year-end closings while liaising with insurers and clients as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accounting/finance is required.
• Insurance industry experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles is expected.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and related tools.
• Able to meet deadlines with accuracy and reliability.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Account Executive to join our insurance agency. The role focuses on handling insurance premiums, commission reconciliation, client accounts and daily accounting transactions, as well as supporting the finance and administrative functions of the company.

Key Responsibilities

Handle daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records

Prepare and process insurance premium payments to insurance companies

Monitor and reconcile premiums received from clients against insurance company records

Check commission received from insurers and ensure the amounts are accurate

Monitor outstanding premiums and follow up on pending payments

Perform bank reconciliation and payment reconciliation

Prepare monthly accounting reports and management reports

Assist with month-end and year-end closing

Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records

Liaise with insurance companies, clients, auditors, tax agents and other parties when required

Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

Experience in the insurance industry or insurance agency is an added advantage

Good knowledge of accounting principles and Microsoft Excel

Good attention to detail and accuracy

Able to work independently

Responsible, organised and able to meet deadlines

Good communication and coordination skills
