Job summary

ROCK MAESTRO SDN. BHD. is seeking an Accounts Clerk/Data Entry to support daily financial recording. You will enter transactions, process invoices and vouchers, verify data, and maintain orderly filing of documents.

The role requires basic accounting knowledge, good Excel/Word skills, and high accuracy. You will work independently to meet deadlines and protect confidential information in a fast-paced environment located in Sabah.

Qualifications

• Basic accounting knowledge
• Proficient in Excel and Word
• Familiarity with accounting software
• Good typing speed with high accuracy
• Meticulous, organised and able to handle repetitive data entry tasks
• Responsible, trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Enter daily financial transactions into the accounting system accurately
• Key in supplier invoices, customer invoices, payment vouchers, receipts and other documents
• Verify data and supporting documents before entering transactions
• Maintain systematic filing of physical and electronic documents
• Assist in preparing invoices, receipts, vouchers and other accounting documents
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable data entry
• Update customer and supplier records in the accounting system
• Check entries for errors, duplicate transactions and missing information
• Perform basic data reconciliation and report discrepancies to the Account Executive
