Job summary

Raslan Loong, Shen & Eow, a Malaysian law firm, seeks an Accounts Assistant to support daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records. You will process invoices, assist with AP/AR, and prepare basic reports.

The ideal candidate is organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with numbers; fresh graduates are welcome and training is provided. EPF/SOCSO/EIS benefits accompany annual leave and medical coverage.

Qualifications

Diploma/Certificate in Accounting or related field required.
Fresh grads and candidates with relevant experience welcome.
Basic bookkeeping and accounting principles understood.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; training for accounting software provided.

Responsibilities

Record and maintain invoices, receipts, payments and other accounting documents.
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
Check invoices and supporting documents for accuracy.
Perform basic data entry and bank reconciliation.
Maintain proper filing of accounting records.
Assist with monthly closing and preparation of basic reports.
Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
