Job summary

IOB TECHNOLOGY Sdn Bhd, a Malaysia-based ISO 9001:2015 certified electronics solutions provider, is seeking an Accounts Assistant to support daily bookkeeping and accounting entries using the SQL Accounting System. You will maintain accurate records, assist in month-end closings, and help treasury administration while ensuring compliance and timely reporting.

The role requires a degree in accounting, strong Excel skills, and careful, detail-oriented work.

Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification in Accounting.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily bookkeeping and accounting entries using SQL Accounting System.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for invoices, payments, receipts, and staff claims.
• Assist in account reconciliations, month-end closing, and preparation of supporting schedules.
• Maintain finance documentation and filing to ensure audit readiness.
• Assist in treasury and banking administration, including LC/BA/TR processes and banking facilities.
• Support digitalisation, automation, and AI initiatives to improve Finance workflows.
