Responsibilities

  • Perform data entry for daily transactions (AP, AR, and GL entries).
  • Assist in invoice processing, payment preparation, and filing.
  • Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers, and other records.
  • Assist in monthly closing and preparation of financial reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements and supplier/vendor statements.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external vendors on finance-related matters.
  • Support year-end audit and documentation requirements.
  • Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls.

The Account Assistant is responsible for supporting the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, performing routine accounting tasks, and assisting in financial reporting and reconciliation processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform data entry for daily transactions (AP, AR, and GL entries)
  • Assist in invoice processing, payment preparation, and filing
  • Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers, and other records
  • Assist in monthly closing and preparation of financial reports
  • Reconcile bank statements and supplier/vendor statements
  • Liaise with internal departments and external vendors on finance-related matters
  • Support year-end audit and documentation requirements
  • Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls
  • Perform any other ad‑hoc duties assigned by the superior
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
