Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an accounting/finance professional to manage full sets of accounts and ensure accurate records. The role requires at least a Professional Certificate or higher in Finance/Accounting, with 2+ years of related experience and SQL proficiency.

The candidate will handle AR/AP, month-end close, and prepare financial reports, while adhering to SST and tax rules. English language skills are mandatory for daily communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance/Accounting/Banking.
• 2+ years of related work experience.
• Proficient in English and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts
• Maintain accurate and timely accounting records according to the accounting standard, taxation and SST requirement and ensure compliance.
• Review and ensure accuracy and timely preparation of financial reports submission
• Perform data entry and general daily accounting works
• In charge of Account Receivable/Payable (AR/AP)
• Prepare month-end general ledger close journal entries.
• Assist on any ad-hoc job duties given by superior from time to time
