Job summary

Meritar Supply Chain Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a detail-oriented supervisor to oversee data clerks' daily report work, reconcile inventory records with physical stock, and drive accuracy across warehouse and accounting processes.

You will coordinate inventory planning, analyze data, prepare monthly accounting reports, and lead a small team to standardize procedures and timely completion.

Qualifications

• Strong data awareness and data analysis capability.
• Capable of independently performing data verification and discrepancy analysis.
• Prior working experience in warehouse accounting roles within the automotive industry is preferred.
• Clear logical thinking, quick learning and adaptability, meticulous and rigorous work style, and strong sense of responsibility.
• Basic team management and overall planning capabilities, with good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily report-related work of data clerks; organize inventory discrepancy verification, root-cause analysis and closed-loop resolution to ensure consistency between system records and physical inventory.
• Coordinate overall warehouse inventory planning, follow up inventory execution, consolidate and analyze inventory data, issue inventory reports, and drive corrective actions for discrepancies.
• Be responsible for reconciliation and settlement of transaction bills; complete sorting, consolidation, submission and feedback of various monthly accounting data on schedule.
• Oversee daily task assignment and work follow-up for the accounting team, standardize accounting operating procedures, and supervise the team to efficiently complete all accounting-related tasks.
