Job summary

Private Advertiser in Penang, Bayan Lepas, is seeking a detail-oriented junior accountant to join our finance team. You will handle monthly accounting operations, prepare MA and cash flow, manage AP/AR, and process payroll, while maintaining accurate records.

Familiarity with AutoCount, SQL Accounting, Excel and Google Drive is preferred; fresh graduates with internship are encouraged to apply. Training and career growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accounting/finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years of accounting work experience; fresh graduates welcome with internship.
• Familiar with payroll processing and statutory contributions.

Responsibilities

• Handle monthly accounting operations and ensure proper recording of transactions.
• Prepare and maintain accounting reports including Management Accounts and Cash Flow.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Prepare quotations, invoices, and payment vouchers.
• Process payroll and calculate EPF/SOCSO/EIS; PCB a plus.
• Maintain filing and documentation via Google Drive or internal systems.
• Support month-end closing, audits and tax preparations.
• Communicate professionally with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
