Job summary

Jora Malaysia is offering a hands-on accounting internship in a small, supportive team in Kuala Lumpur. You will assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities, payroll support, and liaising with auditors and tax agents, gaining exposure to regional and international business matters.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, with good Excel skills, strong analytical and communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to work in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities.
• Supporting the preparation of management reports, budgets, forecasts, and reconciliations.
• Assisting with payroll, tax, and other accounting-related matters.
• Supporting liaising with auditors and tax agents.
• Assisting with administrative and fund operations matters.
• Supporting the development and maintenance of accounting procedures and controls.
• Conducting research and providing input on accounting and finance-related matters.
• Assisting with various projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Performing ad-hoc accounting and administrative assignments as required.
