Job summary

Dolphin, Creative Advertising Agency is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting & Finance Executive to manage company financial records, ensure regulatory compliance and support planning. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accountancy/finance and at least 2 years in a similar role.

Experience with SST, WHT and e-invoicing, and proficiency in accounting software (Info-Tech Accounting) are advantageous. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential. Immediate start preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in advertising or creative industry preferred.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia required.

Responsibilities

• Handle accounts payable and receivable and maintain general ledger.
• Prepare financial statements, budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensure tax compliance and filing, including SST and WHT.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
• Provide financial insights to support decisions.
• Collaborate with Operations, HR and Client Servicing teams.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting & Finance Executive to handle and manage our company’s financial records, ensure regulatory compliance, and support financial planning and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting Operations: Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, inventory and general ledger maintenance; ensure timely payments and accurate financial records.
• Financial Management: Prepare and manage full sets of accounts, including periodic financial reports, budgeting and forecasting.
• Taxation & Compliance: Maintain well-organised accounting records and filing systems for tax compliance and audits; reviewing and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, statutes, and company policies.
• Financial Analysis: Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely our Operations, HR and Client Servicing teams to understand transaction schedules and prepare cash flow forecasts.
• External Liaison: Liaise with external parties such as bankers, auditors, tax agents and company secretaries.
• Perform ad-hoc assignments as required by management.
