Job summary

myNEWS HOLDINGS BERHAD is seeking an Accountant to handle full set of accounts, prepare accurate and timely financial and management reports, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes.

The role requires at least 2 years of related experience, proficiency with ERP and Acc Pac Accounting Software, and strong MS Excel skills. LCCI or ACCA qualifications will be an added advantage. We offer a dynamic retail environment with exposure to cost and revenue analyses.

Qualifications

• ERP systems knowledge and strong accounting background.
• Experience with Acc Pac Accounting Software is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Excel and financial reporting.
• At least 2 years of related work experience.
• LCCI or ACCA qualifications are an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts and ensure accuracy.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial and management reports.
• Involvement in financial planning and analysis for cost and revenue.
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting process.
• Ensure supplier invoices are authorized and captured daily for payment.
• Assist in general accounting work.
