Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, including general ledger accounts, journals, and subsidiary ledgers
• Recording financial transactions in accordance with established accounting policies, procedures and GAAP
• Reconciling bank statements, balance sheet accounts and other financial records to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and supporting schedules for review and publication
• Performing account analysis and investigating variances between actual and budgeted figures
• Assisting with the preparation of tax returns, regulatory filings and other compliance documentation
• Supporting the audit process by providing required documentation and explanations to internal and external auditors
• Maintaining detailed records and documentation to ensure financial data is traceable and verifiable
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and contributing to the enhancement of accounting procedures and controls
