Job summary

Monks is seeking an Accountant to join the Corporate team in Malaysia. This full-time role oversees day-to-day financial operations, month-end close, and statutory reporting within a regional Finance team.

You will ensure accurate payroll tax and VAT/GST filings and support consolidation for the global group. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting, 3+ years of accounting experience (APAC pref.), and CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years accounting experience, 1+ year post-qualification preferred.
• APAC experience preferred.
• CPA preferred or equivalent professional qualification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain General Ledger accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage month-end close and statutory financial reporting.
• Payroll tax and BAS/IAS/GST/VAT submissions and compliance.
• Assist with consolidations for group reporting.
