Job summary

ROBUST HPC SDN BHD, a provider of IT solutions and data center colocation services, seeks an Accountant Executive to manage financial operations, billing for HPC projects, and monthly closing. The role supports IT and data center business units with accurate reporting and cost monitoring.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in accounting, familiarity with industry software, and a strong attention to detail. Diploma or degree in accounting is preferred, with ability to liaise with vendors and sales

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, GL entries, and month-end closing reports.
• Reconcile AR/AP, bank accounts, and project billing in a timely manner.
• Assist in producing P&L statements and management reports for IT and data center units.
• Maintain financial documentation in compliance with standards and internal policies.
• Generate purchase orders, invoices, and billing schedules.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve billing queries with clients.
• Coordinate with sales to ensure accurate pricing, terms, and billing adjustments.
• Track project expenses, vendor invoices, and material costs; monitor profitability.

We are seeking a meticulous and well-organized Accountant Executive to join our IT Solutions and Data Center Colocation business. This role is responsible for managing financial operations, preparing accounting reports, handling billing for IT/HPC projects, and ensuring accurate financial records for services such as HPC infrastructure, AI solutions, enterprise IT, and data center colocation services.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, general ledger entries, and month-end closing reports

Ensure timely reconciliation of accounts, including AR/AP, bank accounts, and project billing

Assist in producing P&L statements and management reports for IT and data center business units

Maintain financial documentation in compliance with accounting standards and internal policies

Generate purchase orders, invoices, and billing schedules

Follow up on outstanding payments and coordinate with clients to resolve billing queries

Work closely with sales teams to ensure accurate pricing, contract terms, and billing adjustments

Track project-related expenses, vendor invoices, and material costs

Monitor project profitability and maintain cost breakdowns for hardware procurement, installation, and colocation services

Support budgeting and forecasting activities for IT and data center operations

About you

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL Accounting, UBS, Xero, SAP, or similar).

Familiarity with IT products, servers, cloud billing, or data center services is an advantage.

Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or related roles.

Diploma, Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent is preferred.

Experience in IT/technology or data center industries is a plus.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.

Good communication skills to liaise with vendors, customers, sales teams, and management.

Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality.
