Job summary

Capital Dynamics Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join a small team in Kuala Lumpur. You will handle monthly, quarterly and annual accounting, prepare management reports, budgets and forecasts, and liaise with auditors and tax agents.

The role includes operational support and developing internal controls. The ideal candidate has 3-4 years of corporate accounting experience, a solid degree and professional qualifications, and is highly organized and trustworthy.

Qualifications

• You have 3-4 years of accounting experience in a corporate environment.
• You hold a solid accounting degree and/or professional qualifications.
• You are able to work independently and stay extremely well organized.

Responsibilities

• Fulfilling monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting requirements.
• Preparing management reports, including budgets, forecasts, and reconciliations.

• Assisting in administrative and fund operations matters.

As part of a small team, you will perform a broad range of duties. Your roles will include:

• Preparing management reports, including budgets, forecasts, and reconciliations;
• Dealing with auditor and tax agent;
• Assisting in administrative and fund operations matters;
• Developing procedures and controls for the business;
• Researching and providing input on moderate to complex accounting issues;
• Assisting in other projects as requested; and
• Performing ad-hoc assignments as assigned.

Requirements

• You are expected to have 3-4 years’ accounting experience in the corporate environment and have a solid accounting degree and/or professional qualifications.
• You need to be justifiably confident, be able to work independently and be extremely well organised.
• You have to be a very trustworthy person.
• For the right person, there will be opportunities to gain further exposure to project based activities and increasing involvement with regional and international issues.
