Job summary

Businesslist in Selangor, Malaysia seeks an Account Senior Officer to manage monthly/quarterly reporting, ensure IFRS compliance, and support budgeting and closing activities. The role collaborates with sales and operations to gather data for management reports and liaises with auditors and tax agents during audits.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in accounting, permanent employment, and a salary of RM3,200–RM3,500 per month.

Qualifications

• Sub Specialization: Finance; Accountant (as applicable).

• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports in accordance with Japanese MNC reporting standards.
• Familiar with IFRS standards.
• Analyze sales performance, gross profit trends and variances against budget/forecast.
• Assist in the preparation of consolidated reporting packages for headquarters submission.
• Ensure timely and accurate closing of monthly, quarterly and annual accounting books.
• Perform account reconciliations and verify accuracy of journal entries.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis activities.
• Work closely with other departments to gather data for management reporting.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents during audit and tax filing processes.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices in reporting and closing activities.
