Job Overview
The Account Manager will be responsible for acquiring new customers and maintaining relationships with existing customers.
Responsibilities
- Acquire new accounts and generate a healthy funnel in line with targets.
- Forecast and achieve monthly business targets by offering bundled IT solutions to enterprise customers.
- Manage account relationships and effective account mapping.
- Understand the assigned account's organizational structure and decision‑making hierarchy.
- Make executive pitches and presentations.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans.
- Interpret client's key requirements.
- Generate business from assigned account/area for the products assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience in IT industry account management or direct sales in Microsoft, Oracle, VMWare, Citrix and Trend Micro products or related areas in cloud.
- Experience in solution & consultative sales of IT infrastructure solutions.
- Excellent understanding of various software products and their licensing policies.
- Bachelor's degree / Post‑Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of working experience in the related field.
- Skills: account management, direct sales, licensing, sales, Microsoft.
