Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced accounting/finance professional to lead the full set of accounts and financial reporting for our operations in Malaysia. The role emphasizes strong budgeting, controls, and collaboration with project teams.

Applicants should have 3+ years in accounting, a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, and proficiency with accounting software and MS Office. Mandarin skills and property management exposure are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Must have full-set accounting knowledge.
• Experience in property management is an added advantage.
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Must possess own transportation and a valid driving license.
• Willing to travel and attend site meetings when required.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and taxation.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage the company's full set of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee budgeting, cash flow management, and financial planning.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and government authorities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Monitor and improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Attend project/site meetings and provide financial support to project teams.
• Perform other finance and accounting duties assigned by management.
