Qualifications

• Pursuing Diploma or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office applications.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Willing to learn and work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily accounting and administrative tasks.
• Support preparation and processing of invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other accounting documents.
• Assist in data entry and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Help with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Assist in verifying financial transactions and supporting documents.
• Perform basic bank reconciliation and assist in checking financial records.
• Organise and maintain proper filing of accounting documents.
• Assist the finance team with monthly closing and other accounting-related tasks.

Job description

An Account Intern position with KLC Education, a Cambridge English Education Partner and the largest Cambridge English Examination Preparation Centre in the Southern Region of Malaysia. This role offers practical exposure to real-world accounting operations and the opportunity to apply academic knowledge in a professional working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily accounting and administrative tasks.
• Support the preparation and processing of invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other accounting documents.
• Assist in data entry and maintaining accurate financial records.
