KLCO GROUP is a professional accounting and business advisory firm inviting motivated Accounts & Tax Interns to join our growing team. This internship offers hands-on experience, professional guidance and exposure to real-world accounting and taxation practices.

Gain practical experience while assisting in accounting and tax tasks, with mentorship from senior professionals. Potential for permanent opportunities upon successful completion.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or related field.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and Malaysian taxation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn, responsible and detail-oriented.

Responsabilités

• Assist in preparing full sets of accounts and financial reports.
• Perform data entry, bookkeeping and maintenance of accounting records.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and accounts payable/receivable.
• Organise and maintain clients' accounting documents.
• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts.
• Assist in preparing corporate and individual income tax computations.
• Support preparation of tax returns and related documentation.
• Assist with tax compliance matters, including SST and e-Invoicing.
• Conduct basic research on Malaysian tax regulations and updates.
• Assist with correspondence and documentation for LHDN matters.
• Support senior team members in daily assignments.
• Perform administrative tasks relating to accounting and taxation.
• Carry out other duties assigned by supervisors.

KLCO GROUP is a professional accounting and business advisory firm providing accounting, taxation, auditing, company secretarial and corporate advisory services to businesses across various industries.

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Accounts & Tax Interns to join our growing team. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience, professional guidance and exposure to real-world accounting and taxation practices.

Job Responsibilities

Accounting

Assist in preparing full sets of accounts and financial reports.

Perform data entry, bookkeeping and maintenance of accounting records.

Assist with bank reconciliations and accounts payable/receivable.

Organise and maintain clients' accounting documents.

Assist in preparing monthly management accounts.

Taxation

Assist in preparing corporate and individual income tax computations.

Support preparation of tax returns and related documentation.

Assist with tax compliance matters, including SST and e-Invoicing.

Conduct basic research on Malaysian tax regulations and updates.

Assist with correspondence and documentation for LHDN matters.

Other Duties

Support senior team members in daily assignments.

Perform administrative tasks relating to accounting and taxation.

Carry out other duties assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or a related field.

Basic knowledge of accounting principles and Malaysian taxation.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Willingness to learn, responsible and detail-oriented.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of SQL Accounting or AutoCount is an added advantage.

Fresh learners with a positive attitude are encouraged to apply.
