Job summary

valley tools sdn bhd is seeking an experienced Accounts Executive to independently manage a full set of accounts and support daily operations. The role involves AP/AR, general ledger, bank reconciliations, month-end close, financial statements, management reports, cash flow monitoring, and liaising with auditors and tax agents.

Manufacturing experience is a plus. You will work with minimal supervision, ensure accuracy, maintain organized records for audits, and contribute to process improvements

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience with full set of accounts.
• Diploma or higher in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Knowledge of Malaysian accounting requirements.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with confidentiality.
• Manufacturing experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle a full set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger.

• Prepare financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
• Prepare monthly management reports and supporting schedules.
• Monitor cash flow, arrange payments and follow up on outstanding receivables.
• Check accounting entries and maintain complete supporting documents.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents and company secretaries on relevant matters.
• Assist with tax computations and statutory submissions by preparing the required information and documents.
• Maintain organised accounting records for audit purposes.
