Job summary

The Big G in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah is seeking an experienced Account Executive to manage client accounts, prepare financial statements, and ensure accurate bookkeeping. You will serve as the primary contact for clients and collaborate with internal teams to deliver compliant, timely financial services.

Ideal candidates hold ACCA/AAT or equivalent, have 2–3+ years in bookkeeping or client account management, and are proficient in SQL Accounting and MS Excel.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts and build lasting relationships.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements, trial balances and reconciliations.
• Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel; strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of client accounts and maintain strong relationships.
• Prepare and review financial statements, trial balances and reconciliations.
• Process invoices, expenses and other bookkeeping transactions accurately.
• Liaise with clients to gather financial information and clarify requirements.
• Identify opportunities to expand services and generate revenue from existing clients.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
