Job summary

Rubysteel Kitchen Industry (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage full accounting cycle, prepare financial reports, and support treasury and budgeting functions. Strong English and Bahasa Malaysia skills are required; Chinese language skills are encouraged.

The role involves monthly and yearly closings, consolidation updates, SST compliance, and maintaining accounting systems with data backups.

Responsibilities

• Able to handle full set of accounts and all financial reporting activities
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly closing and yearly closing of accounts
• Prepare financial analysis and update consolidation of accounts to ensure timely delivery of high quality and accurate financial data
• Ensure financial and management reports are completed and submitted according to the schedule, determined by the management
• Prepare SST return and submission and manage any tax issues
• Assist and support management on treasury and budgeting functions
• Monitor accounts payable and ensure all entries are updated within deadline
• Update and prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports (monthly P&L, balance sheet, annual audited accounts) to management
• Maintain accounting database by processing data recovery, system upgrade and backup
• Deal with bankers and prepare trade documents, such as Bank Acceptance
• Control petty cash for daily operation
• Ensure all documents received are checked, validated and matched accordingly
• Chinese candidates with good language skills are encouraged to apply

Job description

- Prepare financial analysis and update consolidation of accounts to ensure timely delivery of high quality and accurate financial data

- Ensure financial and management reports and completed and submitted according to the schedule, determined by the management

- Prepare SST return and submission and any tax issues that may arise

- Assist and support the management on treasury and budgeting function

- Monitor account payable and ensure all entries are updated within deadline set

- Update and prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports (monthly profit and loss statement, balance sheet statement,annual audited accounts) to management

- Maintain accounting database by processing data recovery, system upgrade and backup

- Deal with bankers and responsible for the preparation of trade document, such as Bank Acceptance

- Control of petty cash for daily operation

- Ensure all documents received are checked, validated and matched accordingly

- Looking for candidate with excellent command of English & Bahasa Malaysia (both verbal & written)

- Chinese candidate with good command in language (both verbal & written) are highly encouraged to apply.
