Job summary

Eco-Shop Marketing Berhad in Malaysia seeks a Finance Executive to support monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reporting with a focus on tax and group fixed assets.

You will work in a group finance team, ensure compliance, assist with corporate tax returns, tax provisions and SST, and contribute to system enhancements and accurate documentation. Eco Shop is a leading retail chain with 300 outlets nationwide since 2003.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist to prepare and review corporate income tax returns with tax agents, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
• Assist to prepare monthly tax provisions and deferred tax reports for financial reporting.
• Assist to monitor e-invoicing and lead system enhancement initiatives.
• Assist to handle day-to-day tax compliance tasks, including documentation, filings, and audit readiness.
• Assist to respond to internal queries on SST and withholding tax matters.
• Assist to support stamp duty assessments and ensure timely submission and proper documentation in accordance with local regulations.
• Assist to manage group fixed assets.
• To assist in ad hoc assignments that may arise from time to time.

Qualifications & Competencies:

• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Alertness and attention to detail, proactive, has multi-task abilities and accountability.
• Able to work independently and as a team player in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
